Search For A Mission

Welcome

Hello everyone!

I'm Kristin Cho and I would like to Thank you all for visiting The Echo Mission; where our goal is to keep Every Christian's Hands Open to give and receive resources for serving the world.
Kristin, Thomas, and Elijah Cho

The Echo Mission began after I felt the call to help connect people one day in 2011.  I was scheduled for a global mission trip and was unable to go at the last minute.  Support and encouragement are a must when serving; if you do not have it, you can find yourself easily giving up.

After this experience, I realized I did not ever want to feel like this again, nor did I want another person to.  So with that energy, I set up this little corner of the internet to help serve those willing to serve the world.

With the way things are growing in our means of communicating, the internet is infallible when it comes to connecting.  By utilizing this blog, a mission or service can go from a mere thought to a full-on organized event, ready for broadcast.  Let us help you get the word out about your call to serve!

We'll be your "Mission Matchmaker" :)

Not only did I want to help those with a great mission in mind, but also to encourage people to look at ways to serve each day, person to person, to make a difference in the lives of those around them.

You DO NOT need
to fly around the world
or give a million dollars
in order to be effective;
goodness and God's work
are NOT reflected or measured
solely by these methods.

Jesus lived and served when He was on this earth, and He went first to the broken.  His biggest enemy, the Pharisees, were a group of men that felt the broken weren't always worth the time, and that manmade law was superior to God's love.  To them, the most grand and legal things were all that mattered.. anything less was insignificant.

Jesus dwelled in the "insignificant"
because that is where the most faith,
the most agape love, was grown.

If you look closely, our society is still full of Pharisees;  Those who criticize small attempts to make a difference, and judge a creative and bold love for God's Kingdom, saying it is just too far from the legalistic religion He "wanted" for us.

There are people who need to know they are loved and cared for right here, right now.  Something as small as a surprise coffee gift card, or a smile to a stranger, can make a huge difference because your love and kindness is behind it.

No mission is too small.
And you do not need to be a Christian to serve humanity!

Along with this, we plan to also offer resources for individuals and families.  You'll soon find devotionals, parenting ideas, support, fellowship and much more.

Our personal mission is
"for each Christian to maximize their potential as a servant of their brothers and sisters; whether it is with time, money, travel or praying."
